Deep Yoga was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome while practicing yoga, regardless of their body type, age, sexual orientation, or gender. I created Deep Yoga to create a safe space for every body to feel included in the asana practice. I experienced anxiety while walking into a yoga studio and feeling like I didn't belong because of my body type and level of practice. Later, I saw my husband experience the same, struggling to find a studio that would modify their classes to his body type.

At Deep Yoga, we offer classes that are individually modified to meet the needs of each student. Our classes are influenced by Ashtanga yoga, a sequential practice that shows practitioners progress over time, addressing the belief that yoga doesn't deliver results.

For a more natural and immersive yoga experience, Deep Yoga also offers outdoor sessions in parks, nature reserves, beaches, and backyards. We believe that yoga is best practiced in a setting that is both beautiful and peaceful, and we want to help you connect with your inner self and the natural world.
